RÜDIGER GUHL
OIL PAINTER • PHOTOGRAPHER • MAKE-UP ARTIST
Since childhood, I've been fascinated by colours, faces, and emotions, which led me from drawing comics to portrait painting and later on to photography - a medium that has allowed me to unite aesthetics, emotion, and transformation to this day.
I created "Change for a Moment" to combine makeup, hairstyling, lighting, and posing into a holistic experience. My goal: to transform people through the power of staging and to make their authentic selves visible.
During the pandemic, I returned to painting, in particular, portraiture. My work predominantly depicts women and is inspired by my deep appreciation for feminine strength and expression. Shaped by my upbringing from my mother and grandmother, I see myself as a supporter of feminine energy - a guiding principle that is reflected in all my work.

ABOUT ME
For the first time, I presented a selection of over 40 portraits, combining my passion for colour, emotion and personality in Duderstadt (Lower Saxony, Germany) in November 2025.
With over 19 years of professional experience, I have also completed several international projects, including my own makeup show in Hollywood, numerous music videos and a show during Berlin Fashion Week. I continue to run my own studio in Hamm (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), where I have held numerous photo and art exhibitions, combining harmoniously the art of photography and painting.
Additionally, I am also working with Karolina Zielony and Alan Mark Livesey on the international feature-length documentary "The Realest You", which deals with inner and outer transformations through the power of makeup.
